QA Lead

• You are: an expert in testing both the front-end and back-end of large consumer web sites.
• You will: lead both the hands-on and automated testing efforts at Zivity.

As the first member of our QA team, you will:

• Partner with engineering, product management, and operations to develop comprehensive testing solutions.
• Lead both hands-on and automated testing for both the front-end and back-end of Zivity web site.
• Develop test plans, create test specs, implement testing strategy, and monitor logs and key metrics.
• Help with documentation of the inner workings of all systems.

Engineering Manager

The engineering manager will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, timely web site launches of the consumer-facing Zivity web site. The candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of managing people, processes, and projects. Startup experience is a must, as is a technical background. The ideal candidate would have experience in consumer web site development and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and create best practices and processes for engineering organization, including:
  • - agile methodologies
  • - test-driven development
  • - source control and code maintenance
  • - data migration plans
• Work with marketing and community departments to develop product roadmap.
• Work with Systems Operations (IT) group to develop deployment process.
• Work with HR and recruiters to grow the engineering team.
• Managing the day to day responsibilities and career development of a team of highly technical engineers.

Ruby on Rails Hackers

• You are: an expert in Ruby+Rails and web architecture.
• You will: be getting down and dirty with rails.
• You love: learning, hacking, building, breaking, fixing, TESTING, and helping.

As a server-side Rails engineer, you will own:
